“Whatever you do, excel in it.” As part of our outlook to start a new venture, we were looking for various opportunities. A chance discussion, at a time when the real estate and infrastructure industry was booming, created a idea of creation of the manufacturing facility for manufacturer of sponge iron. Our Chairman, Karmayogi Rajkumar Tibrewala Ji, envisaged the continuous demand for iron and steel and to support the industry, a small manufacturing facility for manufacture of 100TPD of sponge iron was planned to be set up in and around Gummidipoondi. With absolutely no prior experience on the setting up or operating of a sponge iron facility, the unit Akshara Industries Limited was established in the year 2004. From a humble background, we followed a dream and tried to create a Business Conglomerate with technology and expertise to match the Industry Standards. Akshara has changed the perspective of people living in the area, employees, customers and suppliers. We have been continuously improving the quality of our products and will continue to strive to maintain our mantra “Whatever you do, excel in it”
